The ad was made to swing the pendulum of contentment back into the court of weak minded men who would rather see a paunchy bag of soured milk flesh dive into a tub of lube than have their backwards ideals of masculinity challenged.
Meninist groups everywhere applauded the ad for its ingenuity and relatability noting that becoming a fully shaved slob who owns a giant tub of Vaseline is far more relatable than being responsible for your actions and treating others like human beings.
